Bird's habitat
Choosing a habitat
The habitat must be perfectly adapted to the species and the size of your bird. It will therefore need enough space to move around, fly and climb. Horizontal bars, for example, are a favourite for hooked beak birds. Thus, they can cling on to them while roaming around their cage. These bars must be of good quality in order to avoid damage by your pet.
Our tip
Your animal is clever, make sure to install a bird-proof lock!
Like for other pets, avoid a busy, sunlit space liable to drafts. Also remember to raise the cage off the floor for the comfort of your birds but also to avoid small predators, like cats, scaring your birds.
