How to choose the right grooming accessories for your pet ?
Different uses :
All our brush accessories have ergonomic, non-slip handles and are made with sturdy, long-lasting material.
Pneumatic brush :
With stainless steel bristles for removing deep tangles from fur. For removing dead fur, tangles, dander and stubborn dirt. It’s ideal for sensitive areas such as the face and paws.
Smoothing brush :
Soft with nylon bristle, it’s ideal for gentle brushing to make your rabbit or guinea pig’s fur shiny and supple.
Double-sided untangling comb :
A wide comb for untangling fur to prevent knots. A fine comb for smoothing untangled fur.
Slicker brush :
Ideal for daily use. With soft bristles for gentle brushing to protect your furry pal’s skin. It has flexible curved bristles for brushing the undercoat and untangling knots. Regular use significantly reduces fur loss.
Rubber brush :
This 2-in-1 brush cleans and massages at the same time, caring for your pet’s skin while relaxing them as well. This massage brush is safe and enjoyable on your pet’s skin.
Brushing glove :
Ideal for pets that don’t like brushing. An alternative to brushes, this glove is perfect for grooming pets that are fearful or reluctant to be brushed. This flexible silicone glove with bristles removes dead hair and massages your pet at the same time.
🐹 Using an over-sized brush can irritate your furry pal’s skin, particularly if used too often. Using an unsuitable brush with hard bristles can damage their skin which is thinner and therefore more sensitive. It’s important to protect their skin with mild, hypoallergenic products.
Don’t forget to regularly inspect your rabbit or guinea pig’s skin. If you notice any redness, patches or wounds, contact your vet.
The three key steps to grooming rodents :
Follow the veterinarian's advice for complete and effective grooming, making sure to use the brushes in the recommended order:
Step 1: Start grooming your rabbit or guinea pig with a double comb to untangle any knots, especially for long-haired animals. You can also use the slicker brush first to remove dead hair. If necessary, start by cutting your pet’s claws with the nail clipper as they often dislike this step. The following brushing steps will relax them.
Step 2: The pneumatic brush, ideal for long or medium-length fur, is more gentle than a comb for untangling deep knots.
Step 3: The soft brush, glove and rubber brush are the best accessories for completing the grooming process. This is a gentle experience that relaxes your animal.
